Education is the pathway to success. At Dare Humanity, we believe that knowledge is power, and that those with a strong academic foundation can make big contributions to their community. However, most people in Haiti don’t have the opportunity to learn; many children have to abandon school at a young age, joining the workforce in order to support their families. This leaves the majority of the country without a formal education.
We want to change this narrative. Dare Humanity is working to educate the next generation of Haitians which we believe will make a tremendous positive impact on the country’s development.
Our Young Dreams Sponsorship Program (YDSP) works with families in four different communities across Haiti to send their children to school. Currently, the YDSP is providing tuition for 24 students from kindergarten to seventh grade. We are so proud of the influence YDSP has made on children in Haiti and we are working to further our impact.
In March, we will be launching the School Days campaign which will raise money for YDSP. The campaign will run from March 24th to the 31st and we will be raising funds for our student’s tuition. Check out our Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok for campaign related content!
We can’t wait for what this month will bring and we hope that with your continued support, we will be able to expand our impact in Haiti. We believe that by sponsoring the education of this generation of Haitians, we are investing in a bright future for the country. We hope that you will join us on this mission to educate Haiti. Be sure to follow the School Days campaign on our social media and donate to make a difference in Haiti!
